Deadpool 3: Disney has not censored profanity and would lower the script

Deadpool became part of the MCU and Disney – with that, many fans worried if the character would continue to have the adult humor

Unlike most heroes, Deadpool always had a sour humor, known primarily for low-level jokes and profanity-filled vocabulary. Now the franchise is part of the MCU, and with that, from disney – but interestingly, the studio isn’t censoring anything in the script.

In an interview with Den of Geek, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernickscreenwriters of deadpool 3revealed that the disney has supported the creation of jokes already traditionally uttered by the character of Ryan Reynolds.

“They have been very supportive of us in this regard. When it comes to a particular joke, if we cross a line, we might be told ‘not this joke’. But I think they’ve supported us in what we’re doing because obviously we’ve been separated from them for a long time and I think they’ve seen our success and they’ve also had their own bigger success. I hope it’s a perfect marriage. But we definitely have their support, and that’s great.” Reese.

The new film will be directed by Shawn Levyknown for The Adam Project (2022) and Free Guy – Taking Control (2021). deadpool 3 does not yet have a release date.
