San Paolo does its last training session before facing Red Bull Bragantino; check how it went

This Saturday morning, São Paulo finished preparing to face Red Bull Bragantino, for the 14th round of the Brazilian championship. Tricolore visits Massa Bruta this Sunday, starting at 16:00 (Brasilia time), at the Nabi Abi Chedid stadium, in Bragança.

Due to the sequence of games of the season, coach Dorival Júnior has to choose an alternative team against Bragantino, to avoid further injuries in the squad.

This is because San Paolo will no longer have defender Alan Franco (pain in right leg) and forwards Luciano (pain in right calf) and Jonathan Calleri (pain in back) for the match. The players worked through physiotherapy in training this Saturday.

Therefore, the trio are not expected to travel with the team delegation to Bragança. In addition to them, the sure absences are Nahuel Ferraresi, Igor Vinícius, Giuliano Galoppo and Lucas Beraldo. The 19-year-old defender even alternated the REFFIS treatment with a light trot on the pitch in training. Beraldo is recovering from a ligament injury in his left ankle.

How was training at San Paolo this Saturday?

The day began with a video presented by coach Dorival Júnior and then, already on the pitch, the Italian cast completed a physical warm-up circuit.

The players then carried out technical work on a small pitch and tactical work, with an emphasis on the positional part. There was also a complement of attacking and defensive set pieces.
