After an exemplary fifteen-year career, Xavier Dolan confirms that he wants to retire early. It was on his Instagram that he spoke and wanted to “clarify some thoughts” after comments in the Spanish media and reassure those who were worried about him. Thus, the young filmmaker stated that he “wanted to stop making films” and that he was “at peace with this decision.”

However, Xavier Dolan added that he is “currently involved in television projects” and that he “intends to keep his word if they are approved.”
