Dune: Part Two is coming soon. The long-awaited continuation of the franchise, signed by Denis Villeneuve, will definitely see the light of day in our darkrooms on November 1st. And, according to a recent review, its current runtime is… over 3 hours!
World of Reel announces (via ComingSoon): The current version of the film is 3 hours and 15 minutes long. Of course, things can change.
In comparison, the duration of the first dune was 2 hours and 35 minutes. So it looks like it’s going to be a longer sequel, regardless of how many cuts still need to be made to the final product.

In Dune: Part TwoPaul Atreides unites the Chani and the Fremen to seek revenge on those who destroyed his family. But haunted by dark premonitions, the young man is faced with the greatest dilemma: choosing between the love of his life and the fate of the world.
The film is still being directed Denis Villeneuve. Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin and Stephen McKinley Henderson will return. They will be joined by Christopher Walken, Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Léa Seydoux and Suheila Yacoub.
Upon its release, the first part was well received by fans and critics and received no less than 10 Oscar nominations. It won six, including Best Original Score, Best Sound, Best Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design and Best Visual Effects.
