Tomorrow Belongs to Us: The Future of the Sandrine-Morgan Couple, The Scene That Made Them … Marie Cattrix’s Trust

Did Morgan really commit an irredeemably violent attack on Sandrina in a tomorrow that belongs to us?

Although Juliette Tressanini’s character, lifeless and head-damaged on a boat on the Etang de Thau, is now in a coma, everything seems to be blamed on her companion, who fled to Paris after a recent argument. But are looks deceiving, as they often are in TF1’s daily series?

Marie Cattrix, the translator of Morgan Gueho, confided in us about this new story, rich in twists and turns, which marks his return to Tomorrow, which belongs to us almost two years after his last appearance on the road where he lived. Film set of the series Sète and about what lies ahead for the Sandrine-Morgan couple in the next episodes, now that Sandrine seems to have chosen Leslie as her mistress.

AlloCiné: When we were in production on Tomorrow, you were contacted for this new story, was it obvious to you that you would agree to return to the series?

Mary Cattrix : Of course. We were very happy with Juliet when the production asked us to come back together for this Ark. Moreover, from the beginning we had no idea what would happen to our characters. It was while reading the first texts that we said to ourselves: “Oh la la! What’s going on?”.

When I got the SMS from the producer, I was coming out of yoga, my heart was high. Returning to Tomorrow Belongs to Us means seeing friends and family again. It really feels like we get together and we all get together.

I will not hide that I had my little emotion when I set foot on the street where we used to meet from time to time. I saw some of my friends again, tears welling up in my eyes, I knew we were there for a while and we were going to make the most of it. So yeah, it was an immediate “yes,” we didn’t know exactly what we were going to interpret because we only had the texts a month later.

What was Juliet Tressanini’s reunion like? Martin Mill and Solen Hebert ?

We kept in touch with Juliet after leaving the TV series, we met in Paris when I came to visit the capital. With Solen, it’s the same, we’re part of a small DNA team, we’ll never lose the link.

As for Martin, my fictional son, I had a really great meeting with him. It has developed a lot in two years, even in terms of gameplay, I was surprised by its seriousness and development. And in general, I had a lot of fun meeting up with some of my gaming partners that I haven’t seen in almost two years. I felt great joy, great emotion. Because even if we write to each other from time to time, especially on Instagram, seeing each other in real life is another matter.

Morgan meets his rival Leslie in this plot. And her translator, Fleury Auclerc, was far from unknown to you, was she?

absolutely ! The presence of Flori Auclair was a pleasant surprise of this plot. Because when we met TF1 and the production of Tomorrow belongs to us to talk a little bit about what would happen in this ark, Leslie’s role was not yet confirmed.

We started filming not knowing who was going to play Morgan’s rival, and when I found out it was going to be Leslie, I said to myself “Oh, what joy!”. We met in London in 2014 or 2015 when I was living there. There was already a little friendly collision between the two of us. I was glad to find it. Very quickly we shared a room on the set with Juliet and Floria and it was quite funny, laughing at this “group” while our characters were torn from the screen.

The heart of this ark is Sandrine’s infidelity and its consequences for the entire family. What was your reaction when you found out that the writers were planning to blow up the Morgan-Sandrine couple that the public is so attached to?

I was very scared (laughs). I was so scared when I read the first lines, this first sequence where they are with Chloe and Alex and we see that there is already water in the gas between Sandrine and Morgan, we feel that something is wrong in the look that they give each other. . I was a little restless.

Then, in the end, I told myself that it would be great to play something else in this couple. Juliet has never played an intrigue like this before, where she is drowning in lies. And for us, as actors, it was very interesting to play this whole palette. Especially since this arc seems very well written.

After all, what they are going through is unfortunately quite common. This is part of love, a couple’s story. So of course it scared me a little at first. But then I realized that this was leading us in a very interesting direction. And then there’s really a lot more to this plot, beyond the explosion of everything we’ve seen so far.

Sandrine was found unresponsive and injured in a boat earlier in the week, and Morgan is suspected of assaulting her. Everything seems to blame him. But can he really physically harm the woman he loves?

I will draw a parallel with the previous ark, Rafael Agogue and Frank Moncini, when we think Martin is dead. There is the announcement of his death, everyone is crying, it’s terrible. I admit that I even went to look at Frank’s Instagram account to see if it’s true or if the writers are lying to us (laughs). We tell ourselves “No way, he’s going to die like this”. And at the same time we have little faith in it.

It’s a bit the same with Morgan. We tell ourselves “It can’t be, there is too much love between them”. But we never know. Love can sometimes blind you, it can make you crazy, it can make you do completely irrational things.

Indeed, even if it’s hard to believe, Morgan could potentially go so far as to attack Sandrine. Everything is possible, tomorrow belongs to us. We have to leave the audience with some concerns. Either way, the police find Morgan, who ran away after the last argument with Sandrine, and question him.

It seems Sandrine is determined to live out her story with Leslie in broad daylight. Will Morgan accept this relationship and the fact that his story with Sandrine is over?

I always found Morgan to be a very thoughtful person. He has an emotional intelligence, an intelligence of his own. Will he fight for Sandrine?

I can tell something is going to happen this week. I think one of the most beautiful scenes I’ve done is in Tomorrow We Own It, I’ll leave it up to you to discover, it airs on Thursday. After the scene, the director will hug me, the coach told me “I got tears in my eyes”And I myself fell into an emotion that was pretty crazy. I was amazed, I was amazed at what was happening and I can’t wait to see this scene on the screen. Pretty short but answers your question.

Is Morgan and Sandrine back on the set long-term? Or will you leave the show again after this scenario?

No, it’s over, it’s over shooting this arch. Our people aren’t dead yet (laughs), I really like Morgan, I really like that couple, so I’d love to have them back with Juliet, Tomorrow belongs to us for other stories. But there we did not return as a repeater, no, it was only for this summer intrigue. It was a breath of fresh air, finding the friends of tomorrow is up to us.

What are your projects?

I had a small role in Vise le cœur with Claire Keim and Lanick Guthrie, but other than that, nothing is happening right away. On a more personal level, I will start practicing yoga at the end of the year. It has nothing to do with DNA (laughs), but I’ve been wanting to get into it for a long time and it’s getting clearer. After that, will it be possible to do this training according to my schedule or if there are other shoots scheduled before that? Lets see. This is the suspension of this profession.
