“It wasn’t what I expected it to be,” said the actor in an interview with Jake’s Takes
Matt Damon remembers when he participated in a project that was not what he expected it to be and he was “depressed”, the actor did not mention the name of the film he was referring to, but says he regretted having been.
“Without naming any particular movie… sometimes you find yourself in a movie that you know, maybe, might not be what you expected it to be, and you’re still doing it” in an interview with the channel Jake’s Takes on YouTube (via NME)
“And I remember in the middle of production and you still had months to go and you took your family somewhere, you know, and you upset them, and I remember my wife pulling me up because I fell into a depression about like, what did I do?” Said the actor.
Matt he says he is proud of the vast majority of films in which he acted, but this one he did not want to mention he regretted, and he was only able to continue with the help of his wife who helped him to stay up.
“You know, and it was like… I pride myself, in large part because of her, on being a professional actor and what being a professional actor means is you go and do the 15-hour day and give absolutely everything, even in that that you know will be a wasted effort.
The last work of Matt Damon was Oppenheimerdirected by Christopher Nolanwhere he played Lieutenant Leslie Grovewhere it was highly praised and critically acclaimed, “most impressive work yet”.
