Trailer: After Lost Ball and AKA, Alban Lenoir pulls out the baton for the Antigang sequel

A quintessential figure of French action cinema, Alban Lenoir has many successes to his name. After the Lost Ball franchise on Netflix and the AKA movie box set, here he is on Disney+ in the sequel to Antigang, titled Antigang: The Next Generation.

Eight years after the action comedy, Alban Lenoir returns to the role of Neils Cartier. This former legend of the anti-gang brigade, known for his muscular and unorthodox methods, left the police force after a botched intervention that led to the death of his wife.

When the gang of robbers responsible for his death reappears eight years later, Nils doesn’t let anyone get in his way of revenge. Even if it means having to form an amazing duo, despite himself, with a 14-year-old daughter with a strong temper…

For this new investigation under high tension, Alban Lenoir finds his companions from the first opus, which was released in cinemas in 2015: Jean Reno (Serge Buren), Steffi Selma (Richie), Sébastien Lalan (Genovese), Jean-Toussaint Bernard (Boulès) and Oumar Diau (Manu).

Two new recruits join the cast: Cassiope Mayans (Les Combattantes), who portrays Neils Cartier’s daughter, and Sofia Esaide (Overdose), who plays Commissioner Aurore Chalet.

Disney+ has released an explosive trailer for this new stunt- and humor-filled action movie, directed by first-time feature director Benjamin Roche. Screenplay by Bertrand Souley and Benjamin Roche, based on an original story by Alban Lenoir, Benjamin Roche and Tristan Shulman.

Antigang: The Next Generation will be available on August 25th on Disney+.
