Jeff Machado death: Prime suspect gets extended temporary jail time after his misbehavior

The prime suspect in Jeff Machado’s death has had his prison extended temporarily. The court decision was made after the manufacturer exhibited bad behavior.

According to Jairo Magalhães, the lawyer for Jeff’s family, Bruno’s prison sentence was extended for another 30 days. The prime suspect in the actor’s death has been in prison since June 15, after being found hiding on Vidigal Hill in Rio’s South Zone. Furthermore, the Justice wants to prevent Bruno from attempting to intimidate the witnesses who will still be heard in the case.

“Given all of Bruno’s conduct during the investigation, which generated the need for a provisional arrest, and to prevent him from coming into contact with witnesses, the need for arrest was represented,” Jairo explained.

OR inquest investigating the death of Jeff Machado should finish next week. Jeander Vinícius, the other suspect in the crime, is also under arrest. According to Jairo Magalhães, the family hopes that the two will remain in prison after the conclusion of the investigation.
