The second part of The Witcher season 3 has finally been revealed: Netflix has indeed released a brand new trailer to promote the upcoming three episodes.
This action-packed video gives us our first look at Henry Cavill’s final moments as Geralt, who is willing to do anything to protect his fledgling family. The results of Ciri’s training with Yennefer and Geralt are also shown as she is finally introduced to her strength and power.
What can we expect in season 3?
This season, as the continent’s monarchs, mages, and beasts fight to conquer it, Geralt (Henry Cavill) leads Ciri (Freya Allan) into hiding, determined to protect her newly reunited family from those who threaten to destroy it. Charged with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer (Anna Chalotra) leads them to a secure castle in Arethusa, where everyone hopes to discover more of the girl’s untapped powers. Instead, they encounter a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and betrayal, and must fight to set it all straight or lose themselves forever.
The season is over Henry Cavill which thus leaves his place to Liam Hemsworth.
The final three episodes of Season 3 will be available to stream on Netflix starting July 27.
