Morbius: Al Madrigal Complains About Cut Scenes: ‘If They Had Only Left 50% More Of My Stuff’
morbius (2022), film by Marvel starring Jared Leto, hit theaters on April 1. The film was slammed by critics — but the actor Al Madrigal, detective interpreter Rodriguez, defended the production and revealed that several scenes were cut from the final version.
In an interview with ComicBookMovie.com, Madrigal explained that several hilarious lines of his character were cut from the film – therefore, the actor and, consequently, the film, were massacred by the critics.
“First of all, morbius It’s not as bad as everyone is making it out to be. Of course, there were problems and they cut it a little. I had some hilarious lines that were cut from this movie. I was very funny [risos],” told the actor.
Madrigal also revealed that he could improvise on filming, but much of his ad-libs were excluded in editing. Furthermore, she explained that she filmed the final fight scene for six days, “but none of it was shown” in Morbius.
“If they had only left 50% more of my stuff [risos]. I was butchered in this thing. I think that’s what they did. They really… because of covid-19, they’ve had a lot of time to mess with it. They really messed with it […] I filmed for six days [a cena final] and none of it was shown,” concluded Madrigal.
