Messi introduces himself as a new Inter Miami player

The current best player in the world, striker Lionel Messi was finally presented as the new Inter Miami player. This Sunday (16th), thousands of fans of the US club welcomed the star to the DRV Stadium, in Miami, where he will play until 2025.

The player presentation was significantly delayed due to heavy rain in Miami. After all, a storm followed by strong winds attacked the region where the celebration took place, the PNK stadium. The stadium is located in Fort Lauderdale, a city in the Miami region that is home to his new club. Several fans, around 15,000, were at the stadium when the information arrived for everyone to look for a safe place.

With more favorable weather conditions, Messi entered the pitch and greeted the Inter Miami fans. Incidentally, some club officials and former player David Beckham, one of the owners of the club, were also present.

By the way, to settle with Inter Miami, Messi rejected an offer of R$2 billion a year from Al-Hilal, from Saudi Arabia. According to the international press, the Argentine has signed a contract until the end of the 2025 Major League Soccer season and is expected to have an annual salary of R$323 million.

Thus, the Argentine is already starting to participate in club activities with the rest of the team. His debut should take place on Friday (21st), when Inter Miami will face Cruz Azul, from Mexico, for the League Cup.
