Armed suspects break into the plant and flee after the robbery
Earlier this Saturday (15th), four men arrested three employees of a company and stole 250 mobile phones in the industrial district, in Ijuí, in the northern region of Rio Grande do Sul. The crime took place around 3 in the morning.
According to information from the Civil Police, the bandits, wearing ninja caps, entered the plant carrying firearms. The employees were tied up, but later managed to free themselves and call the police.
Deputy Renan Portela Gonçalves said the group announced the theft when one of the employees was arriving at the scene. At that moment, three criminals entered the company, while a fourth remained outside. After the robbery, the suspects fled.
So far, the people involved have not been identified. The police authorities have launched an investigation, requesting expert reports from the plant and analyzing the images captured by the security cameras.
In addition, Chief Gonçalves said that an exchange of information was underway with the military and federal traffic police, who were helping to obtain information about the accident.
