Predator like you have never seen before. Directed by Dan Trachtenberg – 10 Cloverfield Lane – Prey offers a 1987 prequel to John McTiernan’s classic. This time, not a major with a large weapon and a special commando mission, but a warrior who is ready to do anything to save his tribe.
This story takes place 300 years before the events of the original film, this story is followed by a clash between the aliens and the Comanches, the indigenous people of North America. The first pictures are impressive and definitely refer to Alejandro Gonzalez’s Inaritus The Revenant, which is cited as one of the main sources of inspiration.
On the program: chase with horses, ballet darts and even a bear suspended in the air by a space hunter. After several attempts at a decent continuation of the franchise, Predatory Seems like an interesting bias that should appeal to science fiction lovers.
It was originally planned unexpectedly, the project did not go unnoticed and several sources spilled beans on the internet. In US, Predatory It will be released live on the Hulu platform on August 5th. In France, the same date is expected on Disney +.
