Prepare for growth

Warning lovers of thrills and big mysteries: so far gone unnoticed in France, the horror series From is back on Paramount + for a second season. Set against the backdrop of the essential Lost: The Disappeared, it takes us through the Matthews family’s ordeal as their journey turns into a nightmare…

Jimmy (Eoin Bailey), his wife Tabitha (Catalina Sandino Moreno) and their two children find themselves trapped in a small, isolated town in the United States, which no one can leave, despite many attempts to escape the scene. If this assumption is disturbing enough in itself, the famous city still has other much weirder and horrifying phenomena!

Indeed, every night residents are forced to barricade their homes at the risk of coming face to face with creatures looking for new victims. To stay alive and survive in this hostile environment, they can luckily count on Sheriff Boyd Stevens, brilliantly played by Harold Perrineau (the unforgettable Michael in Lost).

Combining horror with the supernatural, with a good dose of irony and suspense, From combines all the ingredients to keep the audience on their toes and play on their nerves!

Recommended by the master of horror himself!

A True Hint of Horror by Stephen King (that, Salem, Shine on, child of light…) was captured by the series, which he did not hesitate to compliment on social networks and recommended to his subscribers: “If you’re a horror fan and haven’t watched From, you should start. It’s terrible.”

A program worthy of the works of a famous American writer? That’s what the very good 4.1/5 viewer rating the series has on AlloCiné suggests. Thanks to its enigmatic history and the many hints planted throughout its episodes, From captivates as much as it intrigues.

Lux already in miles

Good news: the series created by John Griffin (screenwriter of the movie Crater) has just been renewed for a 3rd season!

With the many questions and mysteries it raises, and the confusing cliffhanger that ends season two, it will therefore benefit from another 10 episodes to give viewers answers or even more uncertainty. You too can try to put the puzzle pieces together to unlock the many secrets of this nightmarish city…
