The “Predator” franchise will receive a fifth film, and this time it is a prequel, which has just won a new trailer and an official poster.
The new film, the fifth in the series, will take place long before the events of the 1987 film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Set in 1719, the new sci-fi action movie “Prey” will be the first prequel in the series. If in the other films we will see the soldiers of the modern era confronting alien species, in the new film we will have the Native Americans of the Comanche Nation living such a nightmare.

“Prey” is directed by Dan Trachtenberg and the trailer centers on Naru, a young woman trying to become a Comanche warrior played by Amber Midthunder. Although she has a hard time convincing the tribe that she is a good enough hunter to become a warrior, Naru is the one who sees a sign of her in her and her, when she hunts a bear, she comes face to face with the predator.
Thus begins the attempt of Naru, whose journey to protect his people will follow the film, to defeat the predator and face other threats – after all, we see at the end of the trailer that, in addition to the murderous predator, the Comanches also need to face the settlers, who show up in the forest.
