By order of Minister Rosa Weber, of the Supreme Court, federal agents are looking for addresses in the interior of São Paulo
This Tuesday 18, the federal police are executing search and seizure warrants at addresses linked to people suspected of harassing Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court, and his family members at the airport in Rome, Italy. The ordinances were authorized by the President of the Supreme Court, Minister Rosa Weber.
Andréia Mantovani and Roberto Mantovani Filho are the targets of an inquiry opened by the PF to investigate an alleged crime that occurred on Friday the 14th. The body will however determine the extent of the participation of the suspects in the incident. It can also reach out to other people involved in the episode.
The company has already requested images from Rome airport to fuel the investigation. The registrations were requested through international cooperation, with the support of the ETH Executive Committee. The expectation is that they will be provided within this week and will be used to compare the suspects’ version of what happened.
As shown the Stadiumthe investigation should look into possible crimes against the honor of Alexandre de Moraes, possible bodily harm and even an attempt to abolish the democratic rule of law. Crimes can be investigated and punished in Brazil thanks to the so-called principle of extraterritoriality.
According to the PF, Andréia Mantovani defined the minister as “banned and bought”. Subsequently, her husband, the entrepreneur Roberto Mantovani Filho, reinforced the insults and even physically attacked the minister’s son, a 27-year-old lawyer. Furthermore, Alex Zanatta Bignotto, Roberto’s son-in-law, allegedly cursed the minister’s family. He testified to the PF on the morning of this Sunday the 16th.
In the confusion, a person close to Minister Alexandre de Moraes photographed the alleged attackers. The reports reached the São Paulo federal police, which approached a group of suspects at Guarulhos airport.
