After the release of a first teaser that left fans anxious about the debut of The wondersone of the most anticipated films of the year, Marvel Studios released this Friday (21st) an official trailer for the feature film that will follow the events of captain marvel (2019).
The excerpt shows a lot of action and power and, as expected, the union between Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), Photon; Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), Captain Marvel; and Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), Mrs. Wonder. The video also featured the return of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury: it was recently confirmed that the film will also serve as a sequel to Secret invasionDisney+ series.

According to the synopsis, after Captain Marvel takes his revenge on the Supreme Intelligence, a cybernetic computer capable of concentrating all the military and strategic knowledge of the Kree Empire, unimaginable consequences overtake the heroine, linking her to Kamala and Monica. Now, the trio will have to join forces to deal with the arrival of a new MCU villain: the Annihilator (Zawe Ashton).
When her duties send her into an abnormal wormhole tied to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become intertwined with those of her Jersey City superfan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must band together and learn to work together to save the universe as The Marvels.
It is worth mentioning that Monica Rambeau de Parris had her last appearance in Wanda Vision. She is the granddaughter of Carol, an astronaut with SABER, an organization that she created and also known as Espectro. In the comics, the heroine even takes on the role of Captain Marvel after Danvers.
Directed by Nia DaCosta and written by Megan McDonnell (da Wanda Vision), The wonders is scheduled to premiere on November 9, 2023.
