Spain were expected to win every game in Saturday’s clash but immediately lost one

Carlos Alcaraz, number 1 in the world and fresh from the title at Wimbledon, won his singles this Saturday in the duel between Spain and Croatia for the Hopman Cup, held on clay in Nice, France.
The Spaniard scored 6/3 6/7 (10/8) 10/5 on Borna Coric, 15th. He had already beaten David Goffin on Thursday in his first match after winning the FA Open on Sunday.
