Jamie Foxx comments on health ‘breakdown’ for the first time

Approximately three months after being hospitalized for suffering a “meltdown” on the set of Back In Action and coup attempt Jamie Foxx spoke for the first time and stated how his health is currently excellent – in addition to recalling the case.

In an Instagram post, Foxx denied rumors that he was paralyzed and blind after the incident and took the opportunity to thank relatives and the medical team that took care of him in these last three months of recovery.

“To be honest with you, my sister Deidra Dixon and my daughter Corinne Marie they saved my life,” he said. “So today, and to God, to many great doctors, I can leave this video for you. I can’t tell you how good it is to have your family participate in that way.”

And you know they kept everything tight, they didn’t let anything escape. They had my back and that’s what I hope everyone can have and moments like these.

“As you can see, my eyes are working really well. I’m not paralyzed, but I’ve been to hell and back, and my road to recovery has had some problems as well. But I’m coming back and I can work,” he continued. Jamie Foxx. See the video below:

What happened to Jamie Foxx?

During filming of Back In Actiona film that marks the return of Cameron Diaz as an actress, in April 2023, Jamie Foxx had to be hospitalized after collapsing. A few weeks after the incident, the actor took to social media to reassure fans.

With a black screen and just one sentence, Foxx wrote: “Appreciating all the love. Feeling blessed.” Shortly after the incident, the artist’s daughter spoke out. “Hopefully and with quick action and great care, he’s on the mend,” said Corinne Foxx on the social networks. “We know how dear he is and we appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy at this time.”
