The movie ‘Barbie’ has broken a number of records since its release on July 20th. Just last Monday (24), the Greta Gerwig production totaled US$26 million, more than R$123 million, at the box office. This is the best one-day collection in Warner Bros history. The brand surpassed the studio’s previous record which belonged to Christopher Nolan’s 2008 “The Dark Knight”. The Batman saga film collected US$24.6 million, just over R$116 million, in a 24-hour period.
