That’s how it is the first official trailer of the filmwhere dramas and romantic moments are coming up that will teach its young protagonists all the lights and shadows of first love:

The film stars Eva Reign, who makes his debut as the lead. “It’s ironic: the movie is called ‘Anything is possible’, but I didn’t believe it. All my life I wanted to be an actress, but even after receiving that call I told myself: I am a black trans girl, I am not going to be the protagonist of a movie. That is not feasible. I’ll be lucky to play someone’s friend“, said the actress in a interview with Them magazine. Reign plays Kelsa, a sassy 17-year-old who she defines as much more than just being trans, as she points out in the interview, but that’s just one more part of her multifaceted identity.

Along with her we find in the cast Abubakr Ali, Renée Elise Goldsberry (‘Hamilton’), Kelly Lamor Wilson, Simone Joy Jones, Daisy Jade, Mark D Valenti, Grant Reynolds, Manu Narayan, Courtnee Carter, Michelle Do, Phil Nardozzi, Roger Petan and more. The film has Ximena García Lecuona as screenwriter, who also acts as executive producer along with Allison Rose Carter and Porter himself.. Christine Vachon, David Hinojosa, Andrew Lauren and DJ Gugenheim are producers on the film, which is a co-production of Amazon Studios and MGM.

Thus, Billy Porter makes his debut in the director’s chair with which it can become one of the best LGTBIQ + films, or at least one of the few that has put a trans protagonist at the undisputed center of history after recent examples such as ‘Heartstopper’ and ‘Euphoria’ where they are left as secondary.
