In Les Enfants des Justes, Fabien Ontiente aimed at the story of a simple Frenchman who took a risk to save the Jews from a devastating fate. Fascinated by this historical period, he wanted to make a war film that tells a little story in a big way.
If the narrative remains classic and the twists are predictable, watching this fiction is still enjoyable, especially thanks to the sober interpretation of the two main actors.
