In the top 10 viewers of 2021, this movie leaves MyCanal in 8 days!

With the change in media chronology settings, Canal + can now release movies six months after their release from theaters. This refers to one of the flagship French films of 2021, but it is already leaving MyCanal.

In the official selection for the 2021 Cannes Film Festival, which was awarded to César des lycéens last February and sparked conversations after its release for its hot topic, Bac Nord is undoubtedly a film that has not gone unnoticed.

This feature film, a true punch, is freely inspired by the scandal that ravaged the Marseille Anti-Crime Brigade in 2012. Led by François Civil, Jill Lellouche and Karim Leclus, Buck Nord follows three BAC police officers who, due to lack of funds, eventually cross the yellow line to fight crime and drug trafficking in the northern part of Marseille.

Director Cedric Jimenez, who wrote the screenplay with Audrey Diwan (L’Evènement), Bac Nord brought back more than 2.2 million viewers when it came out, a good performance for 2021 marked by a significant reduction in room attendance. The French audience continued to cast the film on AlloCiné, making it one of the 10 best films of 2021.

Broadcast on Canal + and available for streaming on the MyCanal platform from February 18 – just six months after the theatrical release, thanks to new media timing regulations – Bac Nord will only be available until March 31st. So you have a little over a week left to watch (re) one of the best French movies of 2021!
