The reputation of the institute is at stake

Axel wants to talk to Charlene to explain his reasons, but the latter is very angry with him and doesn’t want to hear anything. So Axel agrees to leave her alone. Teissier tries to comfort his daughter, who is suffering without news of Louis.

The institute is in crisis: the press is abuzz, some journalists gather in front of the entrance to get exclusives, worried parents call Miriel, and potential students refrain from participating in the competition. Antoine and Rose try to make Emmanuel understand the seriousness of the situation. But the latter believes that there is nothing to be done. A little later, it’s Clotilda’s turn to add a layer, reminding Emmanuel that journalists run the risk of digging into old stories. The school principal then agrees to take action.

Faced with journalists present at the doors of the institute, Teissier said that his school was not directly connected with the tragic death of Auguste Armand. He recalls that only justice will shed light on this case and asks journalists not to make hasty conclusions about the group of teachers of the institute. To prove to them that this is one of the best culinary schools out there, even in these difficult times, Teissier invites them to come and dine at Double A.

In the kitchen, Theo forces his team to provide Auguste Armani-worthy service. All returned to the road. Nutrition appeals to most journalists. But one of them looking for the scoop isn’t so sure. He decides to question Lionel about his feelings about the Louis Guinot case and the fact that the Institute is under threat. Lionel replies that Louis was a great teacher and never felt unsafe at school.

Reunited in their office, Teissier, Rose and Clotilde are relieved. Thanks to their initiative and Lionel’s interview on their behalf, they were able to limit the damage. Meanwhile, Aurelien and Elodie question Axel about the potential reopening of Lucy. A young man, in agreement with his half-sisters, agrees to reopen the restaurant. Aurelien and Élodie, who planned to reopen it on Monday, then offered Axel the job of chef. He hesitates…

Delobel has a new project

Before going to meet Miriel at the Institute, Benoit DeLobel goes to see Jasmine to hear from her. He offers to go home with her for the weekend so she can relax and see her son again. But Jasmine doesn’t want to leave Axel just yet.

At the institute, Benoit talks to Myriel about his new project: he wants to start a street food franchise. To test this concept, he wants to open a restaurant in the area. But since he cannot take care of it himself, he looks for someone who can. Miriel offers him the name of David Gauthier.

Benoit goes to see him in the cafeteria and talks to him about his project. David makes him taste the dish of the day: tomato lasagna, zucchini, eggplant. Benoit notes that the vegetables taste good, but also notes that the lasagna was not homemade. He regrets that David is satisfied with such a result after three years of study. The young man answers that he spent only one year at the institute.

After this misunderstanding, Benoit returns to see Antoine to clarify his expectations. He wants to hire a chef who is already working. After that, the deputy director offers him the name of Enzo Lopez and explains that the latter is in a wheelchair.

Hortense and Mehdi are back

Returning from their honeymoon, Mehdi and Hortense are met by Judy at the institute. While they are putting their things in the boarding house, Mehdi reminds his wife that they have an appointment at the real estate agency in the afternoon. Hortense then announces that she is unavailable due to a dental appointment.

In reality, Hortense goes to the orchard where she finds Souleymane. Both are very happy to see each other, but want to remain cautious.

Later, Hortense finds Mehdi in the park. He is sorry that he could not come to her all afternoon. However, he shows her photos and videos of the apartments he visited. But he can clearly see that Hortense is not enthusiastic. When he asks if she still wants them to live together, Hortense doesn’t dare tell him anything.
