After a disappointing season, which began with high expectations, Tottenham are hoping to return to the top of the table. Without winning a place in European competitions, Spurs are aiming at least for qualification for next season’s Champions League.

The cast base was maintained, with punctual exchanges. In goal, Lloris is still in the squad, but is released to look for a new club. Tottenham has brought the Italian Vicario into his club, who has already been called up by the Azzurri but has not yet made his debut for the national team. Also joining him are midfielder Maddison, who was relegated with Leicester, and defender Van de Ven. The loss felt, but not so felt, is striker Lucas Moura. At the end of his contract, he left London on a free transfer for not renewing his contract.
