Star Wars: Ahsoka’s new trailer shows a very important character; I wait

A new trailer for the series Ahsoka has been made available on the internet and shows a very important detail for the story of the character: his former Jedi Master. Anakin’s face appears on video for the first time in a long time, teasing his extraordinary presence on actor Hayden Christensen’s skin.

What you need to know:

Star Wars it has seen better times for the brand acquired by Disney, but still manages to generate hype with announcements of future feature films or series. That’s what the latest trailer released by the franchise’s official YouTube channel was up to Ahsokacoming to Disney+.

In this series, Rosario Dawson continues as Ahsoka, finding many of her companions shown in another moment, this time in animation and with the name of Star Wars Rebels. One of them, perhaps the most important for a long time, is Anakin Skywalker, who was his Jedi Master until the warrior’s defection when he learns more about his mentor.

Anakin Skywalker is Ahsoka’s souvenir

The new trailer shows Anakin played once again by Hayden Christensen, who was in this role of the same character in episodes 2 and 3 of the second Star Wars trilogy in 2002 and 2005 respectively. He also provided body and voice for the series. Obi-Wan Kenobi when he was already Darth Vader and was credited clone wars.

In the trailer, not yet available with Portuguese subtitles and not even dubbed into our language, Anakin appears with the short hair of episode 2 and the Padawan braid used in that feature film. With that it’s safe to say the scene is part of a flashback or memory, but I’m betting Hayden Christensen should introduce himself as Darth Vader, because in the canonical story he and Ahsoka meet after Order 66.

Ahsoka will have the first two episodes released on Disney+ on August 23 and then each part of the series will continue to arrive weekly in streaming.
