Dominic Hulin died on August 10 Western France. The actor was involved in the reintegration of youth and showed society, despite his brief scenes in two films Under-Nighted.
First, the stuntman
First noticed by Ivan Schiffer, who hired him as a stuntman, Dominique Hulin has an exceptional physique: 2.05 m and 130 kg. In the cinema, it is limited to the roles of tough guys and henchmen. If his first role is to appear in Les Quatre Charlots mousquetaires, we see him again as a bodyguard in Jean-Francois Davy’s Q.
Talented
He featured in Moonraker (1979), but exploded in 1980 with a talent diptych (On Vacation or Undergraduate) as Bruce, an imposing sports teacher. His most famous piece of trash is that he is called a high school student, but gets hit in the head with a plank of wood, which stops his charge!
Then we see him opposite Inspector La Bavoure, played by Colu (excellent as “Presse-mash”), with Ivan Chiffre calling him in his second play, Le Fou du roi (1983), interpreted by Michel Lieb and Hulin. In The Ogre Tale I Met Santa Claus (1984) played by Karen Sherrill.
Often a third blade, Dominique Hulin continued his career in Samuel Fuller (Sans espoir de retour), Les Epoux ripoux and Le Moulin de Daudet before starring in Jean-Marie Poire’s Visitors. Thus, his head emerges from the English armor before Godfrey cuts it thickly.

AB Productions and Narco
In the 90s we find him in several AB productions, including Les Vacances de l’amour or Salut les Muscles, but also in international series such as Highlander or Sydney Fox, l’aventurière. After playing the driver in Narco, we find him for his last role in Catherine Breilla’s tale La Belle endormie, in which he once again plays the giant.
In the early 2000s, he directed Olivier Dahan’s Le Petit Poucet, then moved to the set and founded “La Grande Compagnie”, a reintegration project that trains young people in ancient fencing and performing arts.
