A bestseller before it became a TV series, Daisy Jones and The Six follows the rise and fall of a major rock group in the seventies. Acclaimed by the fan community, this adaptation, like the book from which it is taken, tells the story of the band through fake interviews of various members to better balance reality and fiction.
Of course, Daisy Jones and The Six aren’t a real band, but the author of the novel, Taylor Jenkins Reed, was inspired by Fleetwood Mac to write her success books. The love story of fake bandleader Daisy Jones, stage partner Billy Dunn is directly related to what connects Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks and guitarist Lindsey Buckingham.
Since the publication of the book in 2019, the band members have been pretty quiet. But after the release of the series, the phenomenon is hard to miss. on his official Instagram accountStevie Nicks finally expressed herself on this adaptation, thus confirming that she recognized a lot in this story, which has nothing biographical.
“I just finished Daisy Jones and The Six for the second time. It wasn’t really my story at first, but Riley quickly became my story. The memories came back so well that I felt like a ghost watching my own history.”
He continues: “It was very exciting for me. I wish he could see Christine. He would have loved it. Hope it continues…“

In the comments of this edition, many actors responded to this message, as well as Reese Witherspoon, the producer of the series. Stevie Nix hopes the streak continues, but nothing is less certain. Initially, Daisy Jones and The Six was considered a mini-series, but its success and the singer’s hilarious return may certainly change some opinions.
Daisy Jones and The Six is available on Prime Video.
