Five years after Gueule d’ange, director Vanessa Philo is back behind the camera with an ambitious project, an adaptation of the book Consent written by Vanessa Springora. This autobiographical story about the influences and sexual abuse she suffered as a minor caused a stir when it was published.

Consent quickly became one of the best-selling books when it was released in January 2020; It has been the subject of many translations around the world. In the film, Kim Higgelin, who appeared in the Plan B series to be broadcast by TF1 in May 2021, plays a young Vanessa Springora. As for Gabriel Matznef, the novelist accused of sexual violence, he will be portrayed by Jean-Paul Rouve.
