Last Saturday afternoon (19th), Vivo Keyd Stars ended up being defeated 3-1 by INTZ, in the quarterfinals of the Lower Bracket of the 2nd Split of the Brazilian Championship (CBLOL) 2023.
After the loss, Vivo Keyd’s midlaner Grevthar broke down in tears while still onstage, needing some support from his teammates, who were evidently dejected by the Warriors’ loss.
With the defeat, Vivo Keyd closes in 5th place in this 2nd Split, greeting the possibility of fighting for the Brazilian title, whose grand finale will be played in Recife (PE), Grevthar’s hometown.
Top of the bracket, this Sunday (20) paiN Gaming and LOUD, and whoever wins guarantees a place in the capital of Pernambuco as a CBLOL finalist. INTZ will face RED Canids Kalunga in Round 3 of the lower bracket next Saturday, August 26th at 1pm.
