On Wednesday, August 16, he suffered a stroke while on vacation in Marrakesh, Morocco. He has been in a coma ever since. The Franco-Algerian comedian and humorist Vahid Bouzid died on Sunday, August 20, as a result of a stroke. He was 45 years old.

A historical figure of the Jamel Comedy Club, Wahid Bouzid belongs to the first wave of comedians who became famous thanks to this stand-up scene started by Jamel Debuz, which gave pride to diversity. He then embarks on a one-man show adventure and it doesn’t take long for him to gain the attention of television.
