Ronan is cleared
At the police station, Becker congratulates Elise and Ian for getting a confession from the security guard. The latter explained to him that the victim of the fire, Stefan Maroli, worked at several construction sites that Bressan supervised. Knowing the condition of the homeless victim, he sometimes closed his eyes and let him sleep on the spot.
But Maroli was fired from his previous job because he was suspected of stealing copper, and since then the security guard no longer trusted him. When he saw him arriving at the construction site, he asked him to leave. That’s when it got worse.
They were confronted and Bressan gave the torch to Marole, who died instantly. The security guard decided to hide the body. When Ronan started the fire, it was the perfect opportunity for Bressan to get away from him. The latter was presented to the investigating judge and charged with murder.
However, François Laumier fears that the news will affect the property. Claudine tries to calm her down. He is determined to find a way to get the house out of the F34 mess.
In the courtroom, Judge Alfandi informs Ronan that the murder charge has been dismissed. However, he remains charged with arson. Ronan is ready to face the consequences of his actions now that his responsibility for Marole’s death is closed. Cecil therefore requests that his imprisonment be lifted, but he is forbidden to leave the region pending trial.
Ludo still loved Noemi?
Ludo finds Alix at Les Sauvages. The latter made an appointment for him to be a witness at the wedding. He takes it with great pleasure. Ludo takes the opportunity to tell her that he is going to move in with Margo.
Alix points out the lack of enthusiasm and asks Ludo if he is in love with Noemi. The young man admits that since he was alone, he thinks about her a lot. Alix realizes that Ludo is still in love with Noem.
Manu, on the other hand, does not understand Eve’s attitude after the announcement of Virgil’s marriage. Alex suggests that he might want to get married, but doesn’t dare say it. But Manu has doubts.
At the docks, Virgil pays Tom before he leaves. He tells him that the teenager has deducted money from the ecotourism tax. Virgil also explains to her that he made a small extension of the train. The teenager thanks him for everything he has done for him and his mother.
At the farm, Ludo put off all Tolerapy lessons to arrange a horseback ride for Noemi and her, changing his mind. He confides in the young woman that he cannot bear to see her sad. Noemi allows herself to be convinced.
Meanwhile, Margo tries to reach Ludo, but he goes straight to his answering machine. They were supposed to go to the apartment together, but he forgot. She leaves him a message and asks him to call her.
At the end of the day, Ludo finds Mago. He apologizes. He put the phone on silent and did not see his messages. Ludo explains to his companion that he went for a long walk with Noemi and that he couldn’t see the time passing.
A tense Margot explains to him that it is now too late to file the case against Bin. He has to reassure Ludo and assures him that they will find another place to live. But Margot thinks she doesn’t want to live with him. Ludo doesn’t understand, he just missed one meeting. It’s not so bad in his eyes. Margot, wanting to be alone, then asks Ludo to leave.
On the beach, Eva confides in Sabine and Mo. She and Virgil had a great love affair and she never asked for her hand in marriage. He does not understand why he proposed marriage to Alix when they live in a fairly easy relationship. Eva admits that she is a little upset.
In turn, Alix confides to Virgil that she offered Helen to be the second witness because she intimidates him. Since then, Helen has been harassing him by sending him photos of wedding dresses. Virgil does not understand the decision of his companion and considers it absurd. Alix reminds her that she was the one who advised him to keep Elena closer so she wouldn’t get angry.
Later that day, Manu asks Eva if she is mad at him for not proposing. The latter assures him that this is not the case and confides in him that his reaction has to do with a misplaced ego crisis. She never wanted to marry, Virgil and all. Eve makes it clear to Manu that she doesn’t need to marry him to fall in love with him.
