Comprised of six episodes, The Chosen One follows Jody, a 12-year-old boy with extraordinary abilities. After surviving an accident and performing several miracles, everything points to him being the son of Jesus Christ. The program is an adaptationAmerican JesusA comic book series created by Mark Miller and Peter Gross. The main element of intrigue lies in the reversal of the situation revealed in the last episode.
After reviving her friend Tuca, Jody allows the village of Santa Rosalia to restore peace. He leaves the place with his mother Sarah, who finally admits that her son will discover his father’s identity. She takes him to a remote location and a limousine approaches. After saying goodbye, Jody gets into the car and runs into the woman he once saw in his dream. She tells him that she has been watching him since he was born, while changing his appearance.

The ending of The Chosen implies two things: Jody is ready to destroy Christianity by starting a war, but especially if he is the child of the devil, then a son – or a daughter? – God definitely exists somewhere. If the second season will see the light of day, it is now certain that Jodi will be the main antagonist of the story and that the face may break out.
