On 20 April 2020, TF1 aired the final episode of season 3 of Les Bracelets Rouges, one of its flagship series, which attracted more than 6 million viewers every week. Almost 3 years after saying goodbye to Thomas, Clement, Roxanne et al in a moving finale, the series is set to make a grand return to the channel with a new, somewhat altered version on Monday 11 September at 9.10pm.
This sequel follows a new group of young patients who live in the same hospital as the old heroes. The opportunity to find part of the nursing staff, namely the characters played by Lionel Abelansky, Guillain Lowndes, Juliet Lambol, Duke Coma and Emily Gahua-Can.
This new version of The Red Bracelet takes us back to the pediatric ward of the Leonard de Vinci Hospital in Arcachon and this time follows the adventures of a new group of teenagers who form strong bonds while fighting the disease. Benjy (Léo Lorleac’h) suffers from a degenerative disease and hopes to finally fall in love.
His best friend Gabriel (Noah Wodeck) meanwhile finds himself in a wheelchair after a terrible car accident. Meanwhile, Zoë (Esther Blanc), the sister of a young intern camped by Michael Gregorio, discovers that his broken arm hides something more serious. The trio is joined by Emma (Cally Boyson), a teenager waiting for a kidney transplant, and Nathan (Noah Derrick), admitted to the emergency room after a surfing accident, who is no stranger to Gabriel.
New red bracelets will get to know each other and support each other in difficult times. However, in friendship they always find the strength to fight and hope, even if Benjy has nothing left…
