While Enzo’s (Azize Diabate) dilemma-themed story in Here It All Begins ends tomorrow, TF1’s cookery series will switch to back-to-school on Monday, with entrance exams up and down. Many new budding chefs at the Auguste Armand Institute.
Thus, the new promo for Here It All Begins Season 4 will feature new faces, including Leonard (Thomas Villani), Maya (Alexandra Faval) or Jimmy (Loan Beckmont), Mark Leroy’s eldest son, who will become powerful. Impression. In the dressing room. But it also includes a character familiar to fans, as Souleymane abandons gardening to start cooking as well.
A new profession that Dembo Camillo, his translator, did not expect at all, but which makes sense in the evolution of the character, who learned a lot thanks to his work in the vegetable garden, developed a love for vegetables and aromatic herbs. And for more than a year and a half, he has been watching his comrades give their best in the kitchen.
“This is not an evolution for Souleymane, which we have been talking about for a long time with the production, it came completely out of the blue”Dembo Camilo explained about the new challenge of his character, who will pass the entrance exam of the institute on Monday. “I’m happy to leave Bostan and I’m really excited to find out what’s next for Suleiman. It’s the start of a new adventure for me, with a lot of new twists and turns. And I get to play with a lot. New actors, it’s great.”.
“There wasn’t really a trigger that made Suleiman want to enter the competition. It happened slowly because he was supplying fruits and vegetables to the institute. Seeing his comrades cook, or asking him for advice on what associations they could make with them. And such vegetables, he wanted to make them like them. and fortune tried”.
How will Antoine react when he finds out that Suleiman wants to join the institute?
It’s been a few episodes, it all starts here, the viewers are convinced of Suleiman’s secret, who is preparing for the competition with the help of Hortense (Katerine Davidzenka). “I didn’t expect this at all, but I’m glad Hortense is training him”– says Dembo Camilo. “She’s a very popular character in the general public and I really like their association. And it was an opportunity for me to play with Catherine, who I hadn’t really worked with before. We had a really good time together.”.
If Suleiman secretly trains with Hortense, it’s because he doesn’t want Antoine (Frederick Diefenthal), his father, to know about his new purpose in life.
“Antoine is a bit of a father, he really supports his son in everything he does. Every time he wants to start a new project, he always puts a lot of pressure on him”explains Souleymane’s translator about this sometimes conflicted father-son relationship. “It’s normal for Antoine to worry, but he’s overprotective, it annoys Suleiman”.
Before the entrance exams, Antoine finally discovers that his son is one of the candidates. And while he will be clearly disappointed that his son chose to lie, things should be back to normal if Dembo Camilo’s revelations are to be believed: “It will create a little tension, but eventually it will happen”.
Entrance exam, friendship, love… What awaits Suleiman in the next episodes?
The entrance exam, which will also give us a chance to meet Malik, Carla, Penelope and Berenice, Constance’s half-sister, highlights the episodes of “This Is Where It All Begins”, which will be broadcast throughout next week on TF1. Will Suleiman be on this? Will it pass the tests with flying colors? Obviously, it will not be an easy task if we believe the confidence of his translator.
“We saw it last year, with the lasagna that completely missed him, Souleymane is not really at the basic level in terms of cooking. Hence, the coaching with Hortense, which will help him a lot. But Souleymane feels a lot of pressure at the beginning. He is probably more comfortable than others , because he already knows the school and the students. But it’s still a real challenge. It’s a mixture of pressure, stress and, above all, fear. He doesn’t want to disappoint.”.

The rest of the series will also be placed under the friendship token of Antoine’s son, who will be part of a new class and still follow the teachings of the institute with Jim, Malik, Carla or Maya. “Suleiman went with Deva, but he never formed strong friendships with the other characters. This is where it all begins.”admits Dembo Camilo, before shouting out the new couple, who must appear in the promo and not go unnoticed.
“He’s going to make a real group of friends there this year, that’s going to be his promotion. They go through a lot of twists and turns together. Sulaiman will especially form a strong friendship with Malik, it will be a good couple. Two little idiots of the group (laughs)”.
Malik (Oscar Al Hafyan), who is about to arrive at Calvier and the Institute to meet Ophel, with whom he discussed a lot on a dating app, and who is actually Ambre (Claire Romain). No doubt Malik will need the advice of a new friend to see this whole story more clearly. But what about Suleiman? Is a new love story expected?
“I have no idea, really”Dembo Camilo admits. “At the moment we are focused on the competition and the start of the school year, it’s not bad anymore. We’ll see if there’s a new relationship later, but that’s not what I’m most interested in.”.
Tune in from Monday, August 28 on TF1 to discover all the new characters here and follow the Institute’s entrance exam.
