Woman with tattoo that “closes” the vents on her back: “They think I’m pretty, until I turn around”

Australian Alexandra Cornish shelled out £6,000 to get huge body-style tattoo

the Australian Alexandra CornishAged 24, he spent R$18,000 (£3,000) to “close up” his back, part of his buttocks and thighs with a tattoo inspired by the japanese princess wakanathe daughter of a 16th-century Japanese feudal lord.

The result is a design adorned with flowers, skulls and spiders, painted only with black paint, which usually causes shock and surprise. “People think I’m beautiful, until I turn my back,” Alexandra told the Daily star.

“I notice people stare at me when I’m out, but I don’t take offense. I put 50 hours on it – I don’t care who watches it!” he explained. In all it was nine sessions, carried out over a year, and more than 50 hours to complete the work done in a studio in Perth, Australia.

“People say my back hurts a lot, but I didn’t think it was that bad. My waist and tailbone hurt more […] I love the contrast between not looking tattooed from the front but having a heavy rear,” added the young woman who is also a tattoo artist.

Appearance does not disturb Alexandra, who currently lives in Singapore with her husband, but some comments are annoying. “One comment that bothers me is ‘I like it, but I wouldn’t want one like this.’ I just don’t care. It’s not on your body,” she points out.
