Oppenheimer surpasses the box office of It: The Thing and reaches the top 5 films +18

Christopher Nolan’s production has grossed about $718 million

After a month of its premiere in theaters worldwide, Oppenheimer reached a new important mark, the film of Christopher Nolan entered the top 5 most profitable R-rated movies in cinema. With US$ 718 million earned worldwide, the feature surpassed the post of It: The Thing with US$ 701 million it dropped to sixth place on the list.

Oppenheimer has had a notable growth in its revenue and consequently in its success, just 20 days after the premiere, the film had already reached the top 10 taking the place of 50 Shades of Grey.
