Un Si Grand Soleil Preview: Episode Summary for Monday, August 28, 2023 [SPOILERS]

Tommy makes his first sales of Buddha Blue

Before classes start, Tom finds a young man in the park to sell him Buddha Blue. Achille, on the other hand, is in a hurry to get ready to go to high school. Kristof thinks he has a date with a girl, but the young man explains to his parents that he needs to find his friend Tom. Cecil is delighted to see that Achilles has already made a friend and offers to invite Tom home to meet him.

At high school, Achill finds Nora and Tom. The teenager asks them if they received a notice about the sale of Buddha Blue. He will be tempted to try this new drug. He then invites two friends to go to the beach with his old friends from college. Laughing, he asks Achilles and Tom to bring the blue to the Buddha.

In the police department, the investigation into the death of Maxime Brune is proceeding slowly. The overseer evaluates Hugo and Manu, who confirm that the victim did indeed die of a stroke after ingesting Buddha Blue.

The forensic science lab also managed to unlock the teenager’s phone, but didn’t find much. He used an app that destroyed messages after 24 hours. Clement instructs Manu to continue questioning the people around him to check his schedule.

On the other hand, Mark Moore calls Prosecutor Bernier about the death of a young man from drug overdose. The prosecutor explains to him that this drug is destroying the United States, but the prosecutor is doing everything to prevent it from happening in France.

After class, Tom and Virgil play basketball. This special moment reminds Tom of how much fun he had with his father before he died. The teenager confides in Virgil that he especially misses his mother after the accident. He wants her to recover from her gambling addiction. Virgil tries to reassure her and asks her not to worry.

A little later, Tom got a call from Natalie. He tells his mother that he will get the money he is asking for in a few days. However, the teenager does not want to tell how he found the money.

A tearful Natalie explains to her son that she really thought she could stop the game this time, but it’s beyond her power. She wants to go back to Montpellier, but Tom wants her to finish her treatment. He then assures Natalie that money won’t be a problem soon.

Hugo falls in love with Sabina

Early in the morning, Sabine and Dimitri go jogging. Sabine is a little worried because her partner has not yet made a notarized transfer for her part of the deposit to buy the house.

Dimitri does not dare to tell him that he cannot afford to buy the house of his dreams. So he continues to lie to her and confirms to his companion that he will make the transfer during the day. Sabine asks her to hurry as she is afraid that the house will pass under their noses.

At the tennis club, Demitri confides in Leonore that he applied for a consumer loan from the bank to pay the down payment on the house. Awaiting reply. Leonor does not hide her concern and insists that she tell her companion the truth.

A little later, when he is about to give tennis lessons to Mr. Mallard, Dimitri overhears his client complaining about Clement Becker on the phone. Mallard confides in Dimitri that he will be willing to pay dearly for the commissar to stop pursuing him. This information did not fall on deaf ears.

Becker invited Sabine, Dimitri and several members of his team to his house for a barbecue. Hugo offers to do a job and meets Sabine. Then he starts talking to her. Current flows well between them. Both of them are passionate about mathematics.

If Hugo immediately falls under the spell, he finds the young woman unattainable. Not only is she in a relationship, but so is Becker’s daughter. Ian advises Hugo to give up.

A little later, Dimitris receives an SMS from the bank saying that he was refused a consumer credit. But when he overhears Becker and Alex talking about the Mallard case, Dimitri sees it as a way to make money. Janet seeks Clement’s help.

Then Dimitri will offer to replace him in the preparation of meat. He reassures Becker that he has nothing to worry about because he learned by watching him. Clement then retorts that the puppy in his boots is useless and finally tells Dimitri that he doesn’t love her.

Dimitri blames the blow. Later, he casually asks Alex about the Mallard case. Meanwhile, Hugo takes advantage of being alone with Sabine to get to know each other better.
