The situation has attracted attention after the messages between Larissa and her mother were revealed in the latest edition of the “Fantástico” program. Rita Salim, delegate of the Police Station for Racial Crimes and Intolerance (Decradi), informed that the preliminary stages have already begun. “The Incident Report was created to investigate the fact reported as religious intolerance. We will begin the investigation by carrying out preliminary phases with the aim of clarifying the fact described in the crime report”, said the delegate in the testimony to the article by Lucas Pasin.
The Commission for Combating Religious Intolerance of the State of Rio de Janeiro, together with the Center for the Articulation of Marginalized Populations (CEAP), was responsible for the complaint. The document bears the signatures of lawyers Carlos Nicodemos Oliveira Silva and Maria Fernanda Fernandes Cunha, both human rights specialists.

Silvana Taques tried to justify herself after the message was leaked. In a statement sent to SBT’s “Fofocalizando” program, she said her words were spoken in “a moment of extreme sadness” and were not meant to offend.
Larissa Manoela, for her part, has not yet publicly commented on the incidents involving her mother and her fiancé’s family.
