Encceja 2023: more than 1 million will test tomorrow (27)


The Encceja 2023 tests will be applied this Sunday (27). More than 1 million candidates are expected to take the exam. Check the guidelines!

Tomorrow, August 27, the Encceja 2023 tests will be held test sites they have already been informed by the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep).




The exam will be applied in all Brazilian states and in the Federal District. In total, 1,106,146 million students enrolled in this edition.

Most applicants will sit their high school exams, with 910,574 participants (82.47%). The fundamental mode of education received 193,572 enrollments (17.53%).

The National Examination for the Certification of Youth and Adult Skills (Encceja) is an assessment that allows people who have not completed primary or secondary education to obtain a certificate for these stages of education.

Encceja exam day guidelines 2023

It is recommended that Encceja 2023 candidates arrive at the testing venues with at least An hour before.

Participants must mandatory to bring:

  • Original document with photo for identification;

  • Ballpoint pen with black ink in transparent barrel.

Inep informs that digital documents with photos available in official applications, such as e-Título, CNH Digital and RG Digital, can be used in the identification procedure.

In case of loss of the document, the participant can submit a report issued by the Police Headquarters for a maximum of 90 days from the date of application of the tests.

Exams Encceja 2023

On the day of the Encceja 2023 trials, the gates will openaccording to the period of the test:

  • The morning: They open at 8:00 and close at 8:45.

  • The afternoon: They open at 2.30pm and close at 3.15pm.

The assessment is based on the Reference Matrices available on the Inep portal. Encceja contains four objective testsaccording to the level of education (elementary and secondary). Each test consists of 30 objective questions..

Result of Encceja 2023

The result of Encceja 2023 will be released on December 22nd.

To obtain the diploma from Encceja it is necessary:

  • Obtain a score of 100 points or more in objective tests;

  • Get a 50% pass rate in the essay

The calculation of the objective tests is carried out according to the Item Response Theory (TRI), the same methodology used in the National High School Examination (Enem).
