‘Baixola’ has received a lot of support from teammates and Verdão idols on social networks
After the sad news of the seriousness of the injury suffered by the attacker Dudu last Sunday, in Palmeiras’ victory over Vasco, many former players and current team-mates in the number 7 shirt used social media to wish strength to the idol of the new generation, Alviverde.
Fernando Prass and Marcos, two former historic goalkeepers and idols of the club, were the first to wish Dudu a great recovery.

Several players from the current squad, such as Luan, Gabriel Menino, Mayke and Artur, also took to social media to wish full support to Baixola, who should only return to the field in 2024.

Palmeiras’ first match without Dudu will already take place this Wednesday, against Deportivo Pereira, for the second leg of the quarter-finals of the Libertadores 2023.
