Cat’s Eyes: The Voice finalist joins the cast of the series in a starring role

This is one of the most anticipated series of 2024. TF1 is currently working on a live-action adaptation of the iconic 80s cartoon Signed Cat’s Eyes. In June of last year, the network announced the names of three actors who, under strange circumstances, are looking for these magnanimous thieves to return art pieces from their father’s collection at all costs.

Therefore, Constance Labe (Balthazar), Camille Lou (I Promise) and Claire Romain (Here It All Begins) will give life to Celia, Tamara and Alexia respectively. And since the start of filming for the series is approaching (it should start in the fall), Entertainment television recently exclusively revealed two new names joining the cast of Cat’s Eyes.

For the role of Quentin Chappuis, a Bandit Repression Brigade (BRB) captain who will do anything to arrest the three sisters, unaware that his childhood sweetheart, Tami (Camille Louw), is part of the trio, the producer chose to turn to Muhammad. Belkhir, better known by the stage name MB14.

The candidate for the fifth season of The Voice, in which he finished second to Slimane, first appeared in the TF1 feature film Nos Chers Voisins, before landing the lead role of a tenor in a film released in 2022, where he answered Michel Laroque.

The author, songwriter, and performer will team up with Cindy Bruna, who will camp for the occasion as Gwen Assaya, a police officer who also happens to be Quentin’s girlfriend. Will his marriage be threatened by the special relationship his wife has with Tam? A cat’s-eye answer. ^

28-year-old Cindy Bruna is a world-famous model who has walked the runway for many major designers. He’s no stranger to the set either, having appeared in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets and Ocean’s 8. However, this will be the first time he’s taken on an actual role in fiction.

Consisting of 8 episodes, Cat’s Eyes is produced by Big Band Story (Benjamin Dupont-Jouben and Mehdi Sabari) and directed by Alexandre Laurent (Les Combattantes, Le Bazar de la Charité). The screenplays are written by Michelle Katz, Justin Kim-Gauthier, Antonin Martin-Hilbert, Anne-Charlotte Kasab, Colin Dussault, Audrey Gagne and Sophie Maurer. After being broadcast on TF1 in 2024, the series will be available exclusively on Prime Video
