Read the official synopsis of the new Pixar animation below:
In a city where inhabitants of fire, water, earth and air coexist, a fiery young woman and a quiet man are about to discover something elementary: how much they really have in common.
The film is directed by Peter Sohn, who also directed “The Good Dinosaur” (2016) and worked on other famous Disney titles – for example: Lightyear (2022), Monsters University (2013) and Ratatouille (2007).
“Elementos” is still in Brazilian cinemas. The animation has been impressively successful at the box office since its release in August, exceeding all expectations.
In its seventh weekend, the film hit a significant milestone, becoming the highest-grossing Hollywood original film released in theaters since the start of the pandemic.
The total worldwide turnover of “Elementos” at the beginning of September amounted to 395.2 million dollars (about 2 billion reals). That surpasses the earnings of other notable releases, including ‘Indiana Jones and the Blue Ring,’ which opened just two weeks after the Pixar film and grossed $356 million.
