Tonight on Netflix: Catch this underrated and beloved movie that’s a hit on the platform now!

Currently in the top 10 most watched movies on Netflix, The Adventures of Little Paddington Bear is a hit with subscribers! This movie is great for young viewers, but also for older viewers who have retained a child’s spirit.

A young Peruvian bear arrives in London to try to find a better life there. Except that the capital of the United Kingdom is not as welcoming as he imagined. It is only in contact with Brown’s friendly family that he gradually finds a way to integrate.

Paddington is inspired by the children’s books of the same name, created by Michael Bond and published since 1958. The literary saga had 26 volumes, the last of which was published posthumously in 2018, Bond having died the previous year.

The feature film is signed by Paul King, who cut his teeth on TV and whose Paddington was his first mainstream success. The voice of the bear is signed by Ben Whishaw (and Guillaume Galienne in the French version), and the inclusion of the animated bear in the actual scenery is a great achievement.

The feature film is very beautiful and offers an atmosphere that is sometimes cozy like a cottage in the English countryside, sometimes at 100 an hour when we witness one of the hero’s mistakes!

The cast is impressive and many actors and actresses have appeared in the world of Harry Potter: Michael Gambon (Dumbledore), Imelda Staunton (Dolores Umbridge), Jim Broadbent (Horace Slughorn), Julie Walters (Molly Weasley), Brendan Gleeson (Mowgrey Mad-). Eye) and Jessica Hines (voiced by Mafalda Hopcrick, Assistant Director of Magical Abuse Service at the Ministry of Magic).

Paddington was a phenomenal success, grossing over $282 million at the international box office and 2.55 million viewers in France.

If you enjoyed the film, its sequel, Paddington 2, is also available on the platform and is also in the top 10 films (and even better than its predecessor), proof if necessary that subscribers of the first opus ran to the second. And that Saga has everything to please the general public!
