Disney+: Marvel’s most beloved superhero returns for a second season

Need a little dose of beauty to ease your mind this back-to-school season? The animated series My Name is Groot returns with five new shorts to watch now on the platform Disney+.

Little Groot will grow up…but not that fast. While viewers mostly know him for his exciting adventures with the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Marvel hero has also experienced many unusual adventures on his own. While we found him taking his first steps in season one, Baby Groot is now beginning to wander the world in season two.

A miniature hero

New settings (the ski suit fits him like a glove) and surprising creatures (taking care of your little one is not easy!) await the beloved character of these films, written and directed by Kirsten Lepore (La Small Factory in the World), who has already signed the previous five.

Vin Diesel apparently returned to voice Groot in the original version. Fans of the Marvel Universe will also appreciate his incomparable partner, Rocket. But that’s not all, because Jeffrey Wright (James Bond, Hunger Games, Westworld) is also there. He voices the character of The Watcher, which he plays in the animated series What If…? from 2021.
