AlloCiné: What is your assessment of our first year at Tomorrow?
Charlotte Gachio : It was a very rich year. I still feel like a new baby, I feel like I just arrived. And at the same time, a year has passed, I see the path taken by the characters, I think it is quite crazy, it happened very quickly. And first of all, what I find quite nice is that I feel that the Russell family was received by the audience. It is disturbing to see that they are tied to us.
Especially since there is a real connection between Maxim Lelouche, Dimitri Foucault, Juliette Mabilate, Paco Blanco and me. Something a little magical happened. The stars matched on the day of our meeting. And we will not give up. Is a true partnership, a friendship that has been established and that will never let us go, I think. We really love each other.
Audrey has had some strong intrigues since coming out on screen last August, be it at the family level or the romantic level with Damien. Which arch do you remember the most? Is that what we now see on screen?
What we are seeing now was probably the most “challenging” for me because he really took me to places like an actor that I had not yet explored. Also, when I watch episodes, I sometimes say to myself: “Look, drama is not your business yet, it shows” (laughs). Because he is looking for something new for me that I have not explored in terms of acting before.
And then this story strikes me with characters who are not my children, with whom I play the most and with whom I have certain codes. I’m confronted with other actors there, but with the same rhythm, so putting a little bit of a bet is very good. Because we obviously have our little Russell family habits.
This story combines several themes, but at first it was an arch on Raphael and influence. Is it important to you that a TV series like Tomorrow, to which we belong, can discuss such social issues and raise awareness?
ძალიან is very important. Raphael is a woman of power, self-confident and she still finds herself under the influence of this narcissistic pervert, this abusive boy. And it really reflects what these people are. Those on the set told me, “I find this story difficult because it reminds me of what I experienced.” That is why we say to ourselves that the authors have identified this type of character quite well.
And that definitely resonates with some viewers. Like an ark focused on Jack and Lizzie, bullying at school. It was important to talk about it. And if he can open a dialogue with certain families, that’s perfect.
Did you know that the authors finally explained what happened to Leo’s mother?
No, it was a surprise. When Yannick Lauren, who plays Stanislaus, arrived, Jennifer Lorette said to me one day with make-up, “He, you see, is your son’s father,” and I was very surprised. He told me “I know a few things, it will happen soon”. As soon as we have the information, we try to spin it (laughs).
But for some reason I knew that one day there would be a story about the return of one of my fathers. But I did not think he would be the youngest to see his father come first. Even if it was still necessary to explain the mother’s death at some point. So that was probably the most “interesting” thing in the first place.

The more episodes pass, the more we discover the true face of Stanislas: the face of a monster who is ready to do anything to achieve his goals. Leo disappears in an episode aired on TF1 this Friday. How will Audrey react? Is he going to accuse Stanislas of kidnapping?
Obviously. Audrey is a mother lion. To touch a baby’s hair, it’s done. Ella immediately thinks it’s Stanislaus and will do anything to find Leo. And he will do everything he can to protect his son. He will once again allow himself to be judged.
What about the rest of the plot? Will things get worse for the Russians? Will this be Audrey’s real descent into hell?
It will be very difficult. And for Audrey and Raphael. Both turn out to be victims of this guy. They will do everything to get rid of him. But Stanislas is not going to let them go, they will need time to escape from him.
Will Audrey be able to count on Damien in this ordeal?
Damien is quite perfect in this event. He will get even closer to the kids. And make a very nice connection, especially with Leo.
That immediately coincided well with Adrienne Robb and you on the set?
First of all, it was a real surprise because I was told he was going to have an Audrey relationship, but I was miles away from imagining it would be with Damien because there was no reason for them to meet. And in the end we were both pleasantly surprised. We spent time together, had dinner together, talked.
We connect a lot with Adrienne, which means there is a lot of respect and cooperation between us. It is important for a couple to play, because kissing someone whose kiss you do not prefer, for example, is not always easy. But there, between us, everything is very natural. Everything is simple, he is wrong. Besides, Adrienne is definitely the most handsome guy in the world.

Finally, what is wonderful about the current story is that it shows that the family is not necessarily biological parents and children. Leo is his son for Audrey…
Completely. Family is a lot. This is an adopted nephew. But in Tomorrow, which we own, there are also Sarah and Roxanne trying to have a baby and I think that’s perfect. And the Russell family is a family with lots of kids who do not have the same parents, they do not have the same fathers, I think it is good to approach this issue. I really like this family that looks like this but it actually works well.
Will we see Russell in the TV series this summer? More nice things to come?
There will be a lot going on in Jordan this summer, Maxim Lelou is traveling a lot right now. But the rest of the family is in a bit of a standby mode. I do not know what awaits us at the end of summer and the beginning of the school year. I do not have a shooting schedule for July yet.
Recently, Alexandra Naum, who played the role of Lewis, left the series. How did you experience his departure?
It was unfortunate because it was so unexpected. I did not think we were going to part with this character. And then Alexandra is a wonderful woman, it’s a really nice meeting. So it is always unfortunate to no longer walk with the person you like. And the same goes for Victoire Douxerre (Vanessa), with whom I threw a lot on the spoon. He knew from the beginning that he was coming for a few months, but he was still sad to say goodbye to these girls. But that’s just goodbye. This is the “see you soon” truth.
