After Batgirl’s solo film was cancelled, the character could have appeared in The Flash
The directors of Batgirl were ‘upset’ that the character was excluded from the film The Flash, the character’s solo feature was canceled due to a matter of context in the universe A.D second David Zaslav (via CinePop), but which could have been part of Flash.
“When we watched it, we felt like we could have been part of it all,” Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah told Insider.
“We didn’t get a chance to show Batgirl to the world and let the audience judge for themselves […] Because the public is really our big boss and should decide whether something is good or bad, or whether something should be seen or not,” he concluded. El Arbi, and stated that Batgirl would bring another aesthetic to the film, as she is a more “down to earth” character.
“Our love for A.Dfor the Batman, Batgirl, Gotham City is so big that as fans we could never say no to another project […] If we had another chance to be a part [da franquia], we would take advantage.” Finished El Arby.
The Batgirl solo film was going to debut on HBO Max in 2022, until it was canceled. Starring Leslie Grace, Michael Keaton and JK Simmons, no information has been released about a new release for the film.
