Directed by Nia Da Costa, The wonders features Photon (Teyonah Parris), Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) and Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani) teaming up with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to battle a new Marvel villain: Dar-Benn – Zawe Ashton’s debut in MCU.
The film will serve as a sequel to Captain Marvel (2019) and will also connect with Secret invasionDisney+ series.
According to the synopsis, After Captain Marvel takes revenge on the Supreme Intelligence, a cybernetic computer capable of concentrating all the military and strategic knowledge of the Kree Empire, unimaginable consequences reach the heroine, connecting her with Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel) and Monica Rambeau (Photon ).
Recently, Marvel announced that the new production will also have an IMAX version. Watch the teaser here. The wonders will be released in theaters on November 9th.
