The Flamengo players met this Friday morning (15th), at Ninho do Urubu, for a private meeting. Therefore, neither coach Jorge Sampaoli nor any club manager participated in the meeting. The conversation behind closed doors lasted an hour. The news was first reported by “Coluna do Fla”.
The conversation between the players, in fact, delayed the start of training. The activity, scheduled for 10am, began shortly after 11am. While the match took place inside the sports centre, Sampaoli and members of his technical staff waited on the pitch.

Before the athletes’ meeting, president Rodolfo Landim went to Ninho do Urubu and met with coach Jorge Sampaoli. There, in fact, they had breakfast together. The two remained together for about an hour and, after saying goodbye, Landim left the place.

The meeting between Landim and Sampaoli, in fact, annoyed the vice president of football (Braz), who was not aware of it.
