The Italian coach joked about the Brazilian striker’s reaction
Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti, of Real Madrid, joked this Saturday (16) when asked about the absence of Brazilian striker Vinicius Jr. from the list of candidates for FIFA’s “The Best” award.
“I saw him here at the CT crying in the locker room. I asked what had happened, he said ‘Mister, they didn’t put me on the list'”, joked Ancelotti.
“I said ‘Wow, I totally understand you’. He cried for three or four hours, I don’t know, we couldn’t stop him,” he added, making even the journalists at the press conference laugh and laugh.
Without directly mentioning the award, Vini Jr. said on Twitter: “Relax, friends.”
Voting for the best FIFA award is open on all platforms and the award date has not yet been confirmed. .
